20 More HBCU Prospects to Keep an Eye on in the 2024 NFL Draft

Yesterday, Brian Pittman of Pittman’s Pocket dropped a list of 20 prospects from the HBCU that have a great shot of hearing their names called in the 2024 NFL Draft. Well, today BPitt continued his list with 20 more that have a shot to be scouted by NFL teams this year!
- AJ Bennett, WR, Texas Southern University – A 6’2 190 pound wide out from Houston, Texas with great hands and ball skills.
- Jacoby Howard, RB, Texas Southern University – The big back coming in at 6’1 224 is a bruising back with great agility.
- LaDarius Owens, RB, Texas Southern University – Another running back at Texas Southern with quickness out the backfield. A scat back that can make you pay.
- Taquon Brown, DL, Lane College – Another Lane College prospect making noise. The 6’2 , 294 pound Defensive lineman from Lakeland, Florida is always around the ball.
- Thomas Douglas, LB, Alabama A&M – The 6’3, 230 pound prospect from Milledgeville, Georgia was a great addition to AAMU from Georgia Military.
- Mohamed Elazazy, OL, Alabama A&M – The former Western Michigan offensive lineman is a big boy standing at 6-5 300 and has a mean streak.
- Carson Vinson, OL, Alabama A&M – AAMU has some big boys on their offensive line in 2023. The 6’6, 305 pounder from Cary, N.C. is a fun player to watch.
- Khalil Baker, DB, North Carolina Central – Baker is a 6’0 defensive back with ball skills. He is not afraid to lower his shoulder.
- Brandon Codrington, DB, North Carolina Central – Codrington may be one of the best return men in all of college football. He is short, but he is feisty.
- Corey Bullock, OL, North Carolina Central – Bullock is a tenacious player standing at 6’4 and weighing 315 pounds. He was a 2nd team All-MEAC player in 2023.
- Davius Richard, QB, North Carolina Central – The 6’3 quarterback from Belle Glade, Florida has a great looking delivery and can crush you with his legs and arm.
- Adrian Olivo, K, North Carolina Central – NCCU does a great job at recruiting the state of Florida and Olivo has a huge leg from Plant City.
- Quantez Mansfield, DL, North Carolina Central – The 6’2, 295 pound pass rusher has quick feet and has a knack for getting after a ball carrier. He had a huge game against Delaware State back in 2021.
- Brandon Tucker, DL, South Carolina State University – The 285 pound rusher from Columbia, South Carolina has a relentless motor.
- Patrick Godbolt, DL, South Carolina State University – Godbolt is a playmaker on the SCSU defense. The Blythewood native hopes to be the next big thing to come out of the city!
- Antonio Kennon, DB, Tuskegee University – A six-foot defensive back who weighs 190 pounds and is always around the ball. The Atlanta, Georgia native will make you pay attention in 2023.
- Stanley Livingstone, DB, Tuskegee University – Tuskegee has some amazing defensive prospects with length. The 6 foot corner reminds me a lot of Drayton Florence who played at TU back in the day.
- RJ Mobley, WR, Winston Salem State University – The 6’3, 210 lbs. playmaker can go up and make a play. He is definitely fun to watch.
- Aaron Allen, QB, Alcorn State – If you are looking for a fun quarterback prospect, look no further than Alcorn State’s Aaron Allen. He may only be 6’1 but the kid can toss the ball around!
- Malachi Bailey, DL, Alcorn State – Bailey could be a transitional player who ends up playing linebacker because he is great off the edge and solid in coverage. He is prototypical linebacker size as well at 6’2, 260 pounds.
