Jerry Rice calls out the 49ers after Deebo Samuel gets hurt running the ball
Today the San Francisco 49ers lost their starting wide receiver, Deebo Samuel, when he suffered a significant leg injury during their game against the Buccaneers.
Samuel was carted off after his leg was caught underneath him on a running play.
49ers Hall of Fame wide receiver was pissed when he watched Samuel being carted off and called out the Niners and their play calling.
Rice mentioned in his post how Trey Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo also suffered serious injuries on run lays up the middle and asked the team to stop running their skill players up the middle.
Lance broke his ankle, Jimmy G suffered an injury trying to escape a pass rush, and now Deebo is banged up.
I can see Rice’s frustration because the 49ers look like contenders, but losing Deebo Samuel is a huge loss.
