Booger McFarland takes a huge shot at the Cowboys defense saying they blew a 17-point lead against the Jags
Booger McFarland just called out the Dallas Cowboys defense for giving up a 17-point lead against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Last night, Booger was on Monday Night Countdown ahead of the Packers/Rams game and boy did he take a shot at Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys defense.
“As much as we talk about this defense like they’re the second coming of my Buccaneer defense, or the Ravens defense, or some of the great defenses of all time, it’s time we call them out,” McFarland began. “That defense has been bad. Micah Parsons and those guys, we can pat them on the back like they’re really, really good, but they were given a 27-10 lead. I would have prayed to Sweet Baby Jesus, give me a 27-10 lead, it’s game over. This Cowboys team, they blew a 27-10 lead. … They gotta play better.”
McFarland says the defense let their team down. Dallas was on a streak before playing the Jaguars. They play the Eagles this week, but the Eagles will likely be without Jalen Hurts. If the Eagles win they can clinch the NFC East, and a first round bye in the playoffs. The Cowboys needed someone to say this, because they have a chance to smash the Eagles this weekend. If they can pull it off, they may rub it back in the face of Booger.
