What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2023 NFL Draft?

The one thing that separates me from a lot of guys in my position would have to be my motor, I do not stop, I keep coming as the game goes on no matter the score or circumstance I am going to keep working and trying to outwork the man across from me. I have been doubted my whole life so everything I do is with a chip on my shoulder.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

I was 8 yrs old when I first started playing football at an organized level for the Villages Buffalo Pop Warner.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

The one thing NFL teams should know about me is that I will work till I cannot work anymore, I will be the first in the building and I will be the last one to leave. I am inspired to be the best player and man I can be at all times.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

If I could donate to one cause in this world it would be racial equality, throughout the world.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

The best advice I ever received was from my coach Codey Cole he told me ” doing your job is the bare minimum, so go above and beyond to be the best you can be”.

Who was your childhood hero?

My childhood hero was my grandmother. She taught me so many valuable lessons and enabled me to see life from a different angle at an early age.

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

The most underrated teammate in my locker room would have to be #9 Cedric Carter, He is a silent killer. He doesn’t say a word, but he is a very technical guy, who does everything right, I call him cyborg lol. 

What is your biggest pet peeve?

My biggest pet peeve is people who chew with their mouths open, no lie that really erks me, more than anything 

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

The hardest moment for me to overcome in my life was when my cousin Fred died while I was in JUCO that really killed me spiritually and had me in a very dark place, but I used football to overcome it and I knew he wanted better for me and he is still my biggest motivation to be the best player I can be today honestly. JUCO was also hard because I wasn’t the player I wanted to be I could never break the starting lineup, and i was looked at as a joke, so when i was given a chance after JUCO I vowed to never feel the way I felt ever again, I wanted to prove everyone wrong.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

It was in the middle of nowhere, that is what made it special to me, my head coach Travis Everhartt coached my dad when he was at tiffin, so I looked at him as family, and he really treated me like family my years playing for him and that was very crucial to me especially with my family being 700 miles away.

What is your favorite snack food?

My favorite snack food would have to be brownies. I love brownies and I know they are not healthy for me, but I really love them.

What is the best part of football?

The best part of football to me is making those special bonds with your brothers, and being able to share a common goal. To me that’s the real part, yes everyone wants to win and become champions, but those bonds just like those championships last for life. You can cherish material things for life you can’t cherish people forever, football helps you cherish those bonds.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

I will do whatever it takes to get my foot in the door and once it’s in the door it’s never closing. I will walk through that door in a suit and tie, rather it’s dirty or not LET’S WORK!

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

I would compare myself to Von Miller. He is my idol. My motor is like Vons. I do not stop, I keep coming,  and knowing the situations within the game only turns that little dial in my head up another notch.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

If I could have dinner with three people it would be, Kobe Bryant, Von Miller, and Ray Lewis, I would ask them how they worked in certain situations, why they worked they would, and how I could continue to improve my already rigorous work ethic.
