Five trades that would shake up the NFL before the trade deadline

Christian McCaffrey Injury Update
Imagine if Josh Allen had Christian McCaffrey to throw to out of the backfield along with Stefon Diggs, Gabriel Davis and Dawson Knox?

The NFL Trade Deadline is quickly approaching on November 1st, and there are several teams that could part ways with players before that date!

Things could pick up soon, there are several teams on bye over the next couple weeks and that is the best time to get a new player acclimated to their new team and learn the offense or defense.

Let’s look at five trades we could see happen before the trade deadline.

Buffalo Bills trade Zach Moss, and a 2023 2nd round pick to the Panthers for RB Christian McCaffrey

The Buffalo Bills are really close right now and they have to feel it after beating the Chiefs in Arrowhead yesterday. The Bills could land Christian McCaffrey for a very cheap contract in 2023 and he could help propel them deep into the playoffs, and help them get to the Super Bowl. The Bills have the fire power and could use the extra week on this bye to help him get the groove of the offense. Devin Singletary, James Cook and Christian McCaffrey would not be a bad one, two, three punch for the exciting Bills offense. If the Bills get the Super Bowl on the move, it is basically a third round pick…..

Los Angeles Chargers trade a 4th round pick to the Bears for Robert Quinn

The Chargers were expected to be a dominate force this year, but with Bosa out and expecting to miss time, the Chargers need to get help. The Chargers will have to maneuver their cap around, but they could make it happen. Quinn is a Pro Bowl caliber pass rusher and the Bears at this point are not going to win many games, you may want to get something for Quinn. Quinn had 18.5 sacks and 34 pressures last year. He could be a great addition to the Chargers.

Packers trade 3rd round pick and Amari Rodgers to the Steelers for WR Chase Claypool

The Steelers are struggling this year, and Aaron Rodgers looks lost without a true number 1 wide receiver. The Steelers have Diontae Johnson and George Pickens, but cannot pass up the opportunity to land a 3rd round pick and a solid return man. After yesterday’s huge game the Steelers need to sell now on Claypool. This would be the time they could get a bigger pick for the number three receiver on their team.

Falcons trade a 7th round pick to the Los Angeles Rams for RB Cam Akers

The Atlanta Falcons have covered the spread in all six of their games this year. They are playing teams extremely tough right now, but they need a running back. With Cordarelle Patterson out, and relying heavily on Caleb Huntley and Tyler Allgeier, I think they would be crazy not to give up a late round pick to add the former Florida State running back. The Falcons could get a great player at a very reasonable price. It makes too much sense for both teams.

Miami Dolphins trade TE Mike Gesicki to the Jacksonville Jaguars for a 4th round pick

The Miami Dolphins do not use Mike Gesicki they way they should. They are paying him 10.9 million dollars and he is not getting the ball as many times as he should be. I understand that they have been using their back-ups at the quarterback position, but even with Tua in the game he is barely targeted. Yesterday, in the loss to Minnesota he had 6 receptions for 69 yards and 2 touchdowns. Now is the time to unload him. The Jaguars need a tight end and they have the draft picks to give up.
