Yaqub Talib the brother of Aqib Talib has been indicted for murder in Texas
According to court records, Aqib Talib’s brother Yaqub Talib has been indicted for murder in Texas.
According to WFAA, Talib has been indicted by a Grand Jury in Dallas County on felony murder charges. The charges stem from the fatal shooting of youth football coach Michael Hickmon.
After an altercation broke out between two youth football coaches, Yaqub fired multiple shots killing the youth football coach in front of his family and son in Dallas.
Aqib Talib, 36, and Yaqub Talib, 39, were the coaches of the North Dallas United Bobcats youth football team.
If found guilty, Talib could face up to Life in prison for the felony murder charge.
Many at the event said that Aqib threw the first punch which triggered the brawl. Aqib is not in trouble at this time, but the family of the victim are hoping he is charged for inciting the brawl.
