Dalvin Cook’s half-brother was arrested for first-degree murder after shooting and killing a 17-year-old in a drug deal gone bad
Dalvin Cook’s half-brother Demarcus Cook, 18, was arrested Wednesday on a single count of first-degree murder, in Florida.
The crazy thing is Cook was expected to buy drugs from 17-year-old Isaiah Hernandez who was standing outside his home when Cook allegedly drove up to him in his Jeep Grand Cherokee. According to the report though, Cook never intended to buy the drugs.
Instead, detectives allege Cook intended to steal the marijuana from Isaiah, and allegedly opened fire on the teen from inside his Jeep. He shot Isaiah Hernandez five times, and the young man would die in his father’s arms.
Police searched Cook’s home, and allegedly recovered the gun used in the murder as well as the stolen marijuana.
A GoFundMe page was set up to help the Hernandez family pay for funeral expenses.
