Middle School youth football player Braden Fahey died after an athletic event

Braden Fahey died after attending an athletic event at Clayton Valley Charter High School on Friday.

Fahey was a middle-schooler and youth football player who needed first responders around 7:24 p.m. and transported the young man to a hospital.

Braden died on Sunday, according to a GoFundMe page started Monday by “Friends of Braden Fahey.”

The page says:

“Dear Community – It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Braden Fahey – a son, brother, cousin, friend, teammate, and so much more in our community. We are all devastated by the tragic loss of Braden, who suffered a severe medical emergency that took his life unexpectedly on August 7.

Please keep the Fahey family in your prayers during this tough time.
