What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I use to always play outside with my friends in the my complex when I was 7/8 years old. always loved the game and I finally convinced my mom to let me play organized ball when I was 9 and felt like I found my purpose that day and never looked back since.

How do you prepare for games?

I prepare for games by getting a great meal the night before and film review. Getting some great sleep with affirmations for success and peak performance playing in the back. The morning of consists of lots of meditation and review over what I have studied on my opponent the whole week.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

It would have to be Ray Lewis or Luke Kuechly without a doubt. Just to be able to around minds and people whole share the same love and heart for the game would be an amazing experience.

What sets you apart from other linebackers?

I feel like my vision and nat for being able to find the ball or be around we’re the play is happening sets me apart. On top of that ability to stay poise and execute at a high level in the heart of battle sets me apart from many.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

When I step on that football field I hit a switch that don’t turn off till that clock hit zero. It’s war and me and mine gone be ready to knock off any body standing in our way. So I feel my energy is contagious in that aspect.

What should we know about Sir’Zion Dance the person?

What you get with Sir’Zion Dance is a young man that is a leader, a person that you could trust with your last knowing I’ll treat it as my own. A person of character. He is his brothers keeper and has heart they not many can match when it comes to anything he loves whether that be faith, family or football.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Definitely my whole 2018 high school football year and ending it with a state championship while being undefeated was one of the best moments in my life. As well as playing in the NAIA national championship game my sophomore year at Marian.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

My favorite scheme would have to be a 4-3, I feel like it gives your defensive more flexibility and your ball players more ability to be ball players and play fast.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I feel like football has been a big factor in helping me when I reached challenges in my life. Because I feel it showed me how to be resilient in times of desperation. Helping shape my mental focus and awareness to know when I’m in a situation that looks not in my favor not quitting just take a breath and switch up the scheme till you find what gets you over that hurdle.

What would a team get in a player like you?

They get someone who truly loves the game and what ever comes with it. They will get resilient warrior and a winner with a contagious energy that can benefit your team as a whole not only defensively.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

I looked forward to the success that’s coming. I’m surrounded by a group of great guys players and coaches and in a great system and scheme that’s going to allow us to ball. So what this season has in store for Tiffin football is what I’m excited to see.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Definitely my dog Nickai Poyser overall one of the best players and leader by example I’ve played with and I definitely think he was slept on.
