What are your favorite moments from your football life?

I would say having the chance to play football again after giving it up going to juco baseball after high school. Winning conference championship in college after not being on a very winning team in high school. Then getting awarded All American after last season.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

I would have to say either Bo Jackson or either Lawrence Taylor. Bo Jackson was a multiple sport athlete in the professional and did great in both of them. If he didn’t get hurt in football he would have been the greatest running back of all the time. Then Lawrence Taylor he was a absolute beast on defense, arguably the greatest defensive player of all time. Would be great to learn some tips from those guys.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

Would say all of them inspire me a lot in whatever I do! I would have go with my mom, as far as I can remember she has 2-3 jobs.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I don’t like being that guy that is yelling/making noise for no reason. Whenever someone needs to be called out I will call them out. I like to play like it will be my last time on the field no matter what even if it is practice, in the weight room or even a game day. Also I am a calm guy on the field but like to be pissed off at the same time.

What are your favorite things about playing football for Monmouth College(IL)?

It would definitely have to be how the whole community from students at the college, professors and even people you don’t know support the football team. The atmosphere during home games is insane, especially being a small school. Can’t forget the bag pipes playing when we walk out either.

What should we know about Korbyn Personett the person?

I am a care free person, that loves to hang out with friends and family. Always a good time and this might sound weird to some people but more and more NFL players are admitting. I love to watch anime on my spare time outside of football. Also I am really strict from what I eat, to sleeping and etc.

What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I would say being able to inflict pain on anybody opposing me without getting in trouble which is a great part about football. Meeting new people making new friends/life long friends. Also I can remember as far as I can I have been pretty good at football so why not keep playing the game I love and what I am good at.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

I would have to go with 4-3, makes my job a lot easier. Don’t have deal with as many double teams. Also have ran that most of the time throughout my career.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Stay as calm as possible, workout or do something I love to make sure my head is clear minded. Can’t be making things worse, on the football field just remember the next play whenever I have a challenge.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A very hungry player that plays relentlessly and is contagious for all the players around me. Very coachable/hard working player and a small town kid wanting to do anything to make his dream come true.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

So many things, getting another chance to play football is something I won’t take for granted. I have been working my a** off this off season. In the weight room and on the field. Can’t wait to see how my hard work pay off again. The big plan for this season is to make it to the playoffs and not lose the first game of playoffs either. I can’t wait to back up my last season to show all the doubters it wasn’t a fluke.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

I would have to go with Joe Krall even though he wasn’t underrated in college. He graduated two years ago my sophomore year. Even though I didn’t play much sophomore year I went against him all the time in practice. He made me a lot better and at time I would say I was around 215-220 and he was like 300 pounds.
