Jaguars pass rusher Josh Allen insinuates that Urban Meyer did not talk to the players like grown men
Urban Meyer may have been a great college coach, but when he made it to the NFL, boy it sounds like it was a disaster. Jaguars pass rusher Josh Allen was talking with media yesterday, and asked if there was a difference between Doug Pederson and Urban Meyer, and Allen’s response insinuates that Urban Meyer was not the greatest communicator.
“It’s a professional locker room. It’s a professional setting. He’s talking to us like grown men,” Allen said of Pederson.
Meyer has always coached college kids, so apparently he did not adjust very well to speaking with grown men.
There has been quite a bit of problems coming out later on Urban Meyer, I guess that paycheck was worth the headache. I personally feel Doug Pederson is going to right the ship.
