What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

My older brother is the reason I decided to be a football player because I see he wanted to play so I decided to follow behind him and play.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

I appreciate every moment that football has brought me in my life because you just can’t take any of them for granted.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

I would say my siblings in general because it is hard just to pick one of them, and I say them because they are part of all of this. They set a standard that we all have to meet with each other, and bring the best out of each other.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I bring a positive mindset to the field. I always believe that my cup is half full instead half empty because I believe that I always have more in my possession at the end of the day.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Marshawn Lynch because I feel like he has a lot of knowledge on and off the field that can benefit me in the long run.

What are your favorite things about playing football for SE Missouri State?

My favorite thing about playing at SEMO is just the relationships I have created in my time here. I truly do appreciate all the people I have come across and will always remember them.

What should we know about Geno Hess the person?

I’m just a fun person to be around and always want to have a good time no matter the situation. I just want to see everyone around me win and be able to reach goals that we set out for.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

Outside zone because I feel like it suits my running style the best, and I feel like when I make a cut it is over with from there.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I just pray at the end of the day because there are going to be things in life that I just can’t control. I feel like once I pray about it the situation has officially left my hands, and I know better days are coming.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A team would be getting a confident player, someone ready and willing to learn, and someone they can count on at the end of the day on and off the field.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

I’m looking forward to the special moments that we are about to create as family this upcoming season. I believe that we all have made enough sacrifices for one big goal that we all want to succeed.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Justin Swift, I believe he doesn’t get the flowers he deserves. He is one of the big reasons that this football program is where it is at today because of him and I feel like his impact doesn’t get talked about enough.
