What makes you a top prospect at your position  in the 2023 NFL Draft?

  • There are a couple reasons why I’m a top prospect. My catch radius, size, ability to win 50/50 balls, speed, and route running are all parts of my game I feel can translate to the next level.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

  • When I turned 5, I started playing flag football for Lakewood Pop Warner. At that time, my two older brothers played too so I followed in their footsteps.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

  • One thing they should know is that competition fuels me and consistency defines me.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

  • Feeding America

What is the best advice you have ever received?

  • God rewards disciplined hard work. Sounds cliche but it’s true.

Who was your childhood hero?

  • My father. As I’ve got older, the reasons change why I look up to him, but I always have and always will.

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

  • Well I just got to Monmouth, so I can’t speak on that yet. But for Yale, I feel like the most underrated player is Mason Shipp. Young WR so he was just waiting his turn, but when he has his opportunity, everyone is going to see what he can do on that field. Great all around explosive piece to any offense.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

  • When people aren’t grateful for what they have and how good they have it. But also when people eat with their mouths open.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

  • When my grandmother passed away my freshman year of High School.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

  • Monmouth is a great school with a coaching staff that exhibits great culture. It’s so special because we all realize and visualize everyday, our one collective goal in our new conference, and that’s to win a Chip.

What is your favorite snack food?

  • Granny Smith Apples

What is the best part of football?

  • 1 on 1 Coverage into the boundary in the red zone.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

  • A useful person is a virtue and I pride myself in working hard enough to be that guy and more.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

  • Keenan Allen – knowing how to use my body to my advantage, my game is smooth when in and out of breaks, attack field on all 3 levels, can play slot and outside, succeeds at the point of attack, takes the ball out of air.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

  1. Obama – Hearing from a former President of the United States but more importantly being black in that position would be a crazy conversation. Hearing life from his perspective would be a great experience.
  2. Lebron James – hearing from an elite athlete like Bron and his perspective on sports would be great. And how he manages his basketball stardom as well as being an international star on and off the court.
  3. Martin Luther King Jr. – Having a better understanding of what the civil rights movement was really like and hearing his personal stories and perspectives is something every black man in America should want to hear.
