DALLAS COWBOYS CB KELVIN JOSEPH CLEARED FROM DRIVE-BY MURDER INVESTIGATION

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Kelvin Joseph was in a car that reportedly shot and killed a man back in March, but this weekend Joseph was cleared by police.

Joseph was not involved in the shooting and was found to be “truthful and forthcoming” during the investigation, according to reports. Joseph was a person of interest in the drive-by murder of Cameron Ray at the OT Tavern in East Dallas.

Initial belief of Joseph’s involvement in the fatal shooting of Ray stemmed from security video taken outside of the OT Tavern showing Joseph and his posse engaging in a conflict with a separate group, which included Ray.

Joseph was never charged for arrested for the crime, and is expected to be in attendance today when the Cowboys begin training camp.

Per Charles Robinson of Yahoo. the NFL is still monitoring Joseph’s cooperation with the Dallas police department, despite being cleared.

Joseph posted a reaction to the news on Twitter.

Joseph finished his season with 16 tackles and two PBU’s. He was drafted in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
