It honestly sounds like he is just trying to stay friendly with his quarterback, but this is the ultimate level of shade.
The accuracy argument for Tagovailoa doesn’t hold up when looking at overall numbers. While he completed 67.6 percent of his passes to Mahomes’ 66.3 percent, Mahomes had an adjusted completion percentage of 79.2, which was second in the NFL behind the Bengals’ Joe Burrow; Tagovailoa was 18th at 75.3 percent, per PFF.
Tyreek Hill didn’t stop there, he continued to take shots at Mahomes.
