The 2022 NFL will begin on 9th September when the defending Super Bowl Champion Los Angeles Rams face the Buffalo Bills at SoFi Stadium on Friday, 9th September (10:20 AM AEST). Week 1 will continue on Monday morning with The Dallas Cowboys hosting the Buccaneers, among other games. Russell Wilson’s return to Seattle will happen the same week.

Buffalo Bills: The Bills have a versatile squad and finished the previous season on a high note. Their quarterback, Josh Allen, is one of the finest in the NFL and gives the Bills an upper hand this season. He got ranked 3rd best QB by ESPN, placing him ahead of Mahomes and behind Tom Brandy and Aaron Rodgers.
The Bills have strengthened their defense which was a tad shambolic last season. The Bills drafted Kaiir Elan in the 1st Round of the 23rd pick. The cornerback is a great addition to their squad.
The betting odds are also favouring the Buffalo Bills. Multiple sites are giving them 7.50 to 8.00 odds favourites to win the Super Bowl in 2022.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: They’ve every reason to smile after their ace Tom Brady called off his retirement plans. The Bucs also drafted and signed some high-quality talents. They include Luke Goedeke and Russell Gage. Bucs also extended the contract of Leonard Fournette.
The Bucs have 9.00 odds on most sites, putting them slightly behind the Bills as NFL champions favourites.
Kansas City Chiefs: They have all their hope in Patrick Mahomes. Until recently, the Chiefs were tied with the Rams as third Favourites, but the Rams squad weakened. The Ram lost Miller, Robert Woods, and Whitworth.
The Chiefs have an average odds of 11.0 among Aussie bookies, making them the 3rd team likely to be crowned champions in February 2023.
The odds are subject to change as the season nears. Some teams’ chances of winning might drop based on how they perform in the August preseason games if they sustain an injury, among other factors.

Marcus Williams: He joins Baltimore Ravens after a 4-year stint with The New Orleans Saints. The talented Football Safety signed a deal worth 97.4m.
J.C. Jackson: The 26-year-old joined L.A. Chargers from The Patriots. The cornerback, coming from a career-high season after winning the 2021 Pro Bowl, signed a 5-year deal worth 114.8m.
