Nick Saban quickly apologizes for NIL comments | Does Jimbo Fisher have dirt on him?
Jimbo Fisher called out Nick Saban earlier today and he was pissed off. He continued to say ask Nick’s former coaches about how great Nick Saban is. He called him out and said he is done with Saban. Well, Saban quickly apologized.
Saban said he shouldn’t have “singled anybody out” while expressing his frustration with the current NIL landscape.
“I wasn’t saying anyone did anything illegal,” Saban said on SXM College Radio on Thursday afternoon. “That was something that was assumed. That wasn’t what I meant or what I said.”
Man, Nick Saban is backpedaling faster than his 5-star cornerbacks. Does Jimbo Fisher have some dirt on Saban?
The SEC released this statement on the drama.
“The membership of the Southeastern Conference has established expectations for conduct and sportsmanship that were not met last night nor today.”
“Public criticism of any kind does not resolve issues and creates a distraction from seeking solutions for the issues facing college athletics today.”
