Baker Mayfield expected to show up to Browns training camp and make things awkward?
I think the Browns did Baker Mayfield dirty and now he gets to return the favor. When Ian Rapoport joined Pat McAfee show, he told them he feels Baker will in fact show up for training camp.
You have to love this. I feel bad for the guy because he really did give his all for the organization to get pushed out, but this is great too.
“He’s gotta be at training camp,” Rapoport said. “Training camp would be awkward. I’m sure he will show up. It’s all awkward. I think in the end they can come up with a situation that both sides agree with, but it is going to be weird until they get to that point.”
It is going to be the most awkward thing every. Imagine showing up to a team that you ripped in the offseason, and then they trade for your replacement. Baker has 18 million reasons to show up and smile. The market is rough right now for the Browns and Baker. The Browns want to get something for him, I just wonder at this point what can they get?
