Are the Jaguars trying to trade WR Laviska Shenault Jr? If so these five teams need to be calling

Given who the Jaguars have signed, the move doesn’t sound too wild, as both Kirk and Jones seem to be receivers who would operate better on the inside and from the slot. That’s not even mentioning the addition of tight end Evan Engram.
Jaguars could be moving on from Laviska Shenault Jr? I am willing to be he would attract some pretty calls.

Today rumors came out that the Jacksonville Jaguars are listening to trade offers for Laviska Shenault Jr. their former 2nd round pick.

The Jaguars made many splashes yesterday signing two wide receivers in both Christian Kirk and Zay Jones. This opened the door to another player likely on his way out. Jaguars beat reporter Michael Dirocco of ESPN, reportedly said the young wide out could be on the trade block.

Shenault Jr is just 23-years-old. The former Colorado wide receiver has two years left on his contract as well and is very reasonable. Let’s look at five teams that should absolutely pull the trigger to trade for him.

Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills are about to cut ties with Cole Beasley. They could use a wide out like Shenault Jr. who is a 6’1 wide receiver who does a great job at breaking tackles. The Bills love Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis but Shenault Jr is a cheap option at who would you pay 2 million dollars for this year if you traded for him. The Bills are in win mode now and this move makes too much sense to give Josh Allen another big weapon.

New England Patriots

The Patriots need wide outs, let’s be real here. The Patriots making a trade for Shenault Jr would be a great fit. He could immediately become one of the best wide receivers in the room. The Patriots have some decent wide out but why not get Mac Jones a nice shiny new toy? If the price is right, I could see Bill making a trade for him.

New York Giants

I heard yesterday, the Giants are looking for a wide receiver to add to their room, and Shenault Jr. would be a great addition. He would join Sterling Shepard, Kenny Golladay, and Kadrius Toney. Add another weapon for Brian Daboll, because he will use his wide receivers. Daniel Jones should end this year with the best year of his career. If Saquon is healthy as well the Giants could do some damage.

Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons do not have a wide receiver right now. They should be the first team calling. With Calvin Ridley suspended the entire year the team needs to get Matt Ryan some help. This move makes too much sense for the Falcons and can help them out right now. The Falcons adding a 23 year old standout for two years is a great move. Team him up with Ridley and Pitts in two years and Matt Ryan’s contract does not look so bad after all.

Green Bay Packers

Packers could use some help at wide receiver. Both Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdez-Scantling are free agents. Davante Adams won’t play under the franchise tag and Robert Tonyan could be gone in free agency as well. That is not good. The Packers need some depth. They should definitely be on the phone calling Duval County.
