The Green Bay Packers have another player crying. He has every right to cry though. Davante Adams the star wide receiver was slapped with the Franchise Tag and now he is telling the team he is not playing under the tag.

According to Ian Rapoport, Adams has informed the team he will not play under the franchise tag. That should make things a little more interesting. Aaron Rodgers wanted more money and now could end up losing his favorite target.

According to Spotrac, The Packers are 43 million dollars over the cap. They are in Cap HELL right now, and they are going to have to cut a lot of great players to get under that cap.

I am not sure what is going to happen with Davante Adams, but it does not look very good for the Packers at this point.

Adams and the Packers have until July 15 to strike a deal or else the receiver will enter the 2022 campaign on the franchise tag.

Adams would make 20.145 million dollars on the Franchise Tag, but without him Aaron Rodgers is going to cry a lot more. They may have to make some crazy moves to make sure this gets done.
