What are your favorite moments from your football life?

  • That overtime win against Florida that was probably the highlight of my 6 year career.

If there was a billboard with 5 of your traits on it which 5 traits would be up there?

  • Hardworking, determined, competitor, high football IQ, and athlete.

What sets you apart from other offensive linemen?

  • It’s my will to win and my knowledge of the game.

What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

  • For as long as I could remember I always fell in love with the game and I just love the full time commitment that the game has.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

  • Jason Kelce, watching his film and the way he plays the game. You could see when watching his film how much he wants to win and care for his team and that’s why I would hang out with him.

What should we know about Mike Maietti the person?

  • I love to compete in everything that I do and I hate losing.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

  • Just to be 1 percent better then the day, practice or rep before.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

  • Preparation, I feel like when you are prepared it can really slow down the game.

How are you planning to prepare for the draft?

  • I am doing my training at a facility in Florida and I meet with an offensive line coach a few times a week to get out on the field and work on my technique and also in the classroom.

What would a team get in a player like you?

  • A competitor, a true student of the game and a guy that’s going to come to work every single day.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

  • I like to look at the situation from all aspects first and then make the best decision for the team or group at hand.

What do you love about the game of football?

  • I love that it’s a grind and I love that it’s not easy because if it was it wouldn’t be so special.
