What makes you a top prospect at your position  in the 2022 NFL Draft?

~My Football IQ, physicality, and leadership qualities. At Harvard I played various different roles within our system from being an edge defender, dropping into the deep middle zone and typical down-hill run stuffer. Through it all I led the team in tackles 3 out of 4 years and was elected the sole captain of our team.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

~I’ve been playing football with my friends and family for as long as I can remember, but my first time playing PeeWee was when I was 8 years old.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

~I’m an extremely hard-working team player. I am willing to do whatever is necessary to win, and want to be a part of a winning culture.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

~Improving education equity for the youth

What is the best advice you have ever received?

~The test of a man is the fight that he makes, the grit that he daily shows

Who was your childhood hero?

~Ray Lewis was a great player but was an even better leader of men. He’s someone I try to emulate

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

~Danny Abraham

What is your biggest pet peeve?

~People who expect results without putting in the work.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

~One of the hardest moments was having to take time off from school in 2017 due to academic issues and missing the season. In hindsight, it was one of the best things to happen to me because it honed in my focus and helped me understand how quickly something can be taken away from you.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

~In being elected the 147th captain my teammates bestowed upon me an honor that I’ll cherish for the rest of my life. Having the opportunity to represent my team and be part of that lineage is something I’ll never forget.

What is your favorite snack food?

~Pistachios and clementines

What is the best part of football?

~The grind, every day whether it’s training, practice or a game is a test of your body, mind and spirit. For that reason, it breeds a brotherhood like nothing else

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

~By adding me to your roster you get a gritty, hard-working player who is willing to do anything to help the team.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

~Denzel Perryman. I think we both bring a level of physicality that elevates a defense, and our communication skills from the middle linebacker position allow our teammates to be in sync and play faster.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

~Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan, and Ray Lewis. Each of these men were great competitors, and dominated their sport, but they were also great leaders. I’d want to pick their brain about what allowed them to excel on the field and within the locker room.
