Eminem’s kneel has some fans upset, The NFL denies reports that they were attempting to stop Eminem from doing it

Some fans are petty, some are pissed over the halftime show. No, not the baby boomers, who couldn’t understand what Snoop, Dre, and Em were saying, but rather because Eminem kneeled down. There were rumors floating around that the NFL told Eminem he could not kneel down during his performance, but man did he have fans pissed.

You cannot make this up, but when his rendition of “Lose Yourself” ended, Eminem took a knee and held his head in his hand in apparent tribute to former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who took a knee during the national anthem to protest police brutality during the 2016 season.

Other players followed suit, and the move created widespread cultural controversy. Kaepernick would be out of the league soon after. The NFL denied reports that it was attempting to stop Eminem from making the gesture.

“We watched all elements of the show during multiple rehearsals this week and were aware that Eminem was going to do that,” league spokesman Brian McCarthy said.

Did it bother you that he kneeled? Let us know on Twitter @DraftDiamonds. I have a feeling with Dre talking about the Police, Snoop wearing an entire blue bandana as his outfit, and Eminem kneeling, with the dancers dressed up in khaki crip walking, the NFL is about to have a country singer or old band next year….. HAHAHA. We will see!
