What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I am mostly looking to achieve using my abilities God has given me and to play at the professional level. Also to enhance and better my talents, abilities, and knowledge every day.

What is your favorite pass play and why?

My favorite pass play is a concept of crossers with a deep post over top. Throwing the deep post is my favorite throw. This play allows me to go through my progressions and find grass to deliver the football. To me the deep post is the most exciting throw in football.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

The energy I bring onto the field is harmonizing to the need of the team. As a quarterback, I can be both stabilizing and transformative in my energy. I am a fierce competitor; however, the competition is best met by the team, not an individual. Therefore, I believe it is my task to bring whatever energy is needed to the field. The energy needed may be excitement and a spirited enthusiasm, or it may be a calm, steadying demeanor. I am skilled at recognizing what is needed and bringing that energy to the field.

What sets you apart from other quarterbacks?

First I am very offensively dynamic. I can throw the ball and put it where it needs to be and I can also be utilized in the run game. I can create plays when things break down. I am a low 4.5 40 guy. I can fit into many different offensive systems. Another thing that sets me apart as a QB is my humility. I am not the arrogant or cocky type of QB. I am a team first guy. I compete and put my body on the line for the TEAM. I am not out for individual victories.

What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

From growing up in coaching household. My dad was a football coach and I quickly developed a love and excitement for the game. The more I learned about the game the better I wanted to become. Now the excitement and adrenaline I get with the ball in my hands every play is something that you can’t compare to anything.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I attack them head on through hard work and my faith. I attack them with no fear and stay strong in my beliefs.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My favorite moments are my first collegiate start and a game where we played D1 Kennesaw State. My first collegiate start was against Southern Oregon in the National Semi-Finals as a true freshman. We won 37-34 in double OT and I won Offensive Player of the Game. Next, against KSU who was the best opponent we played, I had 4 total TDs. One being an 80 yard TD run.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

I would hang out with Brett Farve. Because of the way he played the game. He stood in there and believed he could make every throw. He played fearless. He played with unreal toughness and that is something I try to resemble. He is also from a small town just like I am. He is someone who has showed me it is possible to make it no matter where you’re from.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

I think the keys to success on the football field are most importantly taking care of the football. My head coach always said the ball is gold. Also being able to make smart decisions as a QB. Not panicking and standing your ground in the pocket. When things break down to go make a play.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A true teammate, a guy who can and will work with everyone who is focused on the same goal.
A hard worker, someone who is not afraid of critique and the work needed to improve.
A good brand representative – a Christian man who takes his reputation and involvements seriously and who invests in those who invest in him. Also someone who is a leader on and off the field. Someone who will have everyone on the teams back no matter what.

What do you love about the game of football?

I love everything about the game. All the ups and downs. The adrenaline. The competitive spirit. The team. All the work you have to put in. I love all the lessons that the game teaches me.

What should we know about Billy Hall the person?

You should know that I am the ultimate competitor. I put all my heart and sole into the game of football. I play the game with a lot of confidence and do whatever it takes to win. Also, I am a man of God and I always put him first in everything I do. All glory goes to him.
