What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

  • It kind of chose me I was a busy kid who had a lot of energy and football was a way I could exert that energy.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

  • Being adaptable, short term memory and being coachable.

What is your favorite route and why?

  • Post Route, definitely because most people think you run a go and it tests your ball judgment.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

  • Randy Moss, he is one of my favorite receivers of all time him or Ray Lewis it would be worth my time.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

  • Definitely positive energy

What sets you apart from other wide receivers?

  • I’m definitely adaptable and I do the right thing. What you ask of me I bring and I am accountable.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

  • Definitely the game winner on senior night, my performance the last game and getting a scholarship my freshman year.

What should we know about Trey Gross the person?

  • I’m very easy-going, I’m an open book and I’m always smiling.

What do you love about the game of football?

  • For me it’s the visions I’m like physic about stuff before it happens and the ups and downs that make you a better player.

What would a team get in a player like you?

  • With me comes responsibility, positive energy and a great mindset.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

  • I take them on, think about it and find a solution.

How are you planning to prepare for the draft?

  • Of course working out and repetition of everything that happens in the combine obviously some things you can’t replicate but I’m always learning.
