Everson Griffen was refusing to leave his home and has been speaking to law enforcement officers after a disturbing video surfaced of him with a gun.
Law enforcement officials say Minnesota Vikings defensive lineman Everson Griffen is inside his home, speaking with mental health professionals and police but refusing to come out after an overnight incident.
Police have been working with him with negotiators since 7am this morning, after dispatchers received a call from the NFL veteran saying someone was inside his help and he needed help.
Griffen said he fired a weapon but no one was injured. Griffen has talked about his mental state in the past. Griffen has been hospitalized in the past for mental health.
