North Carolina High School Coach Connor Earp arrested for felony indecent liberties with a child under the age of 16

Connor Earp was a football player at Greensboro College where he played defensive back. He racked up 64 total tackles in his playing days.

He was hired to be an assistant coach at Northern Guilford High School on August 11th and he is now facing criminal charges.

According to police records, Connor Jordan Earp, 25, was arrested and charged with felony indecent liberties with a child under the age of 16.

He resigned from the school system the same day as his arrest. The school says they are cooperating with law enforcement on the matter.

“We are saddened by the recent allegations regarding the unconscionable actions of the former GCS staff member,” district superintendent Sharon Contreras said in a statement. The emotional and physical well-being of our students is our top priority and we will not tolerate any behavior that puts that in jeopardy. We are fully cooperating with the Guilford County Sheriff’s Department while launching our own internal investigation into this matter. The employee immediately resigned following the accusation. Counseling services are available to the student and we thank students, parents and employees who took action in this case and encourage others to do the same.”

Connor was being held on 25,000 dollars bail.
