1.What are your favorite things about playing football for Baker?
I enjoy the bond and the camaraderie that I have created with my teammates. I enjoy playing the game I love with my team here.
2.What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?
I bring a positive and upbeat type of energy to the football field because I know football is a privilege and I enjoy every second of it. After a long day of classes practice is the highlight of my day.
3.What are you looking forward to in the rest of your season?
I am looking for consistency and continuous improvement in our team and individually.
4.What sets you apart from other quarterbacks?
I have the ability to extend plays and make plays out of nothing without making a bad play worse. I understand when to throw the ball away and when it is time to make a play.
5.What should we know about Marco Aguinaga the person?
You should know that I am going to bring my game every time I step out on that field. I love to compete I think it brings the best out of me and I fight through adversity too no matter the circumstances.
6.What are your favorite moments from your football life?
My favorite moments are winning big games as a team because I know everyone played their hearts out to get that big win. I also just love those moments of the process such as workout out, watching film, meetings and practice.
7.What is your favorite pass and why?
My favorite pass is a slant. It is both a man and a zone beater.
8.If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?
I would hang out with Russell Wilson because I feel like I play the game similar to the way he does. We’re both under 6’0″ so I feel like I could benefit a lot by listening to some knowledge he would have for me.
9.What do you love about the game of football?
I love that it takes all 11 guys to be successful for one play. I love the grind and I love the process of it.
10.What would a team get in a player like you?
A team would get a leader and a teammate. I will make the guys around me better and I will bring that competitive edge out of everyone.
11.How do you prepare for games?
I watch the most film I can and practice on certain looks the defense might show us. Coverages and fronts. I also make sure I’m hydrated and make sure that I am 100% on everything I need to know in the game plan.
12.How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
I would say it depends on the challenges but for the most part I use football as a way to block out all of the negativity and distractions that are going on in life. Football is my coping mechanism.
