Florida High School football player dies after collapsing at practice
According to reports, a Citrus High School football player died yesterday after collapsing at practice.
The Citrus High School football player was rushed to the Citrus Memorial Hospital which is literally next door to the school but it was not enough to save the young man’s life.
The players name was not released at this time.
The school released this statement:
“We have been in contact with the student’s family and convey our heartfelt sympathy and support as they deal with this tragic loss,” the school district said.
We are learning there will be a Crisis Team at the High School today and through the rest of the week for the students in need.
