California star high school football player Tyler Dickson found dead at campground | Police rule the Quarterback was killed
Trevor Dickson was a standout football player at El Cerrito High School in California who was on his way to play college football at Contra Costa College.
Unfortunately, the 20-year-old star was found dead at a campground in Butte County near Lake Oroville over the Fourth of July weekend, the victim of a homicide.
Dickson was found unresponsive in a tent at Bidwell Canyon Marina Campground. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are ruling it a homicide.
Early Saturday morning, the Butte County sheriff’s deputies responded to a 911 call reporting possible gunfire at the campground, where Dickson had been staying with others.
