2022 NFL Draft Prospect Interview on The Slightly Personal Podcast: Lawson Hall, LB, Nevada

By: Chris DiCerbo

The entire University of Nevada football team is looking to impress this year on the football field. However, Linebacker Lawson Hall is looking to capitalize on his extended year of eligibility due to Covid. 2021 will be Lawson’s 6th year of eligibility after his redshirt freshman year in 2016. Lawson capitalized on his redshirt season and used that year off to prepare his body for football at the FBS level.

It wasn’t till his junior year Lawson impacted the Nevada Defense where he cemented himself as a starter for years to come. Last season Lawson led the Wolfpack in tackles with sixty-five and tackles for a loss with eight and a half. One thing apparent throughout Lawson Hall’s collegiate career is his constant dedication to athletics and academics. From 2017-2019 Lawson was named to the All-Mountain West Scholar-Athlete list and is currently completing his Master’s degree at Nevada.

In this edition of the Slightly Personal Podcast, Lawson Hall and host Christopher DiCerbo discuss Lawson’s breakout 2019 season, how he’s looking to capitalize on his extra year of eligibility, the excitement surrounding not only Nevada’s defense but their offense as well, his idol Bobby Wagner and much more!
