1.What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I decided to be a football player based on the environment I was in, I knew and understood I had talent at the sport, but once I became dedicated, I realized it would help change my families name and life and influence my city to show that there was a way out for other kids like me. My father influenced me, but after that I knew it would help me become a better all-around person.

2. What past or present NFL coach would you want to learn from the most and why?

Tony Dungy, simply understanding that he was able to make history becoming the first African American head coach to win the Super Bowl says a lot about him as a man. He continued to pursue his dream and get better no matter the challenges and adversity set in front of him. Winning a Super Bowl as a player and as a coach shows he knows what it takes to win.

3.What are your favorite things about playing football for Morehead State?

As a student athlete at Morehead State, I can honestly say I like the family we created here as a team understanding each other on a personal level. As well as our fans who are loyal to us, being supportive in every aspect on and off the field.

4.What sets you apart from other running backs?

What separates me from other running backs would be me being able to make a play at any point, whether it’d be lining up and catching the ball or running the ball being elusive and determined to do what it takes to put my team in position to win allows me to be different than other running backs. As well as my knowledge of the game understanding what everyone on the field is doing makes me different than others.

5.What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I am a lead by example type of person, understanding that I may not be the loudest in the room or a team speech type of guy. I translate positive energy onto the field by picking others up and demanding everyone’s best effort when on the field.

6.What should we know about Earl Stoudemire Jr the person?

Earl Stoudemire Jr, the person is relaxed and open arms to any and everybody. Willing to give advice and motivate others to become the best version of themselves. I am a believer of putting others before yourself and giving back to those who are in need.

7.How do you prepare for games?

I like to prepare for games with a prayer when I wake up, then I make my way to a small film session and getting last minute tips and understanding of the defense I am facing. I then simply reach out to my father and nephew with a conversation, after that I proceed to listen to music with headphones and lock in on the task at hand.

8.What do you love about the game of football?

I love so much about the game of football but to keep it brief, I love being able to go to war with a group of brothers who have your back and trust in you at all phases of the game. Understanding that it helps prepare you for life in ways such as facing adversity and being able to understand that you must be mentally strong to play the game.

9.What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Scoring my first touchdown in college, my first start in high school as a freshman running back, traveling to California for the first time, meeting Reggie Wayne for the first time, and playing against Damien Harris in a scrimmage my junior year of high school.

10.What would a team get in a player like you?

In a player like me, you would be getting a determined, hard-working person who is willing to learn and grow as a football player as well as a man. Someone who is open-minded and willing to sacrifice what it takes to be the best player I can be while also making others better around me.

11.What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

A PFL Championship, an FCS playoff appearance, a few individual goals and to build a superior program for the young freshman and sophomores coming up.

12.What is your favorite workout?

Hang Clean
