Giants’ Sam Beal pleads guilty to two gun charges

Giants CB Sam Beal has not been the best draft pick over the years. Since 2018 he has only suited up 6 times and is now pleading guilty to gun charges.

Sam Beal the third round supplemental draft pick of the New York Giants pled guilty to two gun-related charges in Ohio last week stemming from an arrest in 2020.

Beal has only played in six games with the team since being selected in the Supplemental Draft in 2018. He received two years of probation and ordered to pay court costs and attorney fees.

This arrest happened on June 2nd, 2020 when he was pulled over by police due to a traffic violation. He had some weed on him and was charged with a concealed weapon and improper handling of a firearm.

Last year, Beal opted out of the 2020 season due to COVID. The former Western Michigan standout has really been a horrible selection for the Giants. Hopefully he can clear up his act and return to the field.
