What makes you a top prospect at your position  in the 2022 NFL Draft?

My combination of speed, vision, power and ability to catch out the backfield. I think I’m the most complete running back in the 2022 NFL Draft.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

I was 7 when I first started playing football. At first I played the center position and linebacker. My first love was defense and being the next Ray Lewis. One practice when I was 10 years old, our starting running back went down. The coach asked “who wants to play running back.” I raised my hand and the rest is history

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

I’m a student of the game and no one can match my work ethic. I’m the son of a head football coach so I’ve always been taught to be prepared. I pride myself on being mentally and physically sharp.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

The National Cancer Research Foundation. My grandmother died of cancer and I know the impact that cancer has on a family. I would love to donate money to help find a cure for this terrible disease.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

My grandfather always told me “whatever you do in life, always do it at 100 percent.”

Who was your childhood hero?

My father. I always admired my father’s work ethic and now as I get older I can truly appreciate my father pushing me to be the best man I can be. My father has a passion to help others and I carry that same passion with me.

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

It’s so many. We really have a lot of great players at Valpo. I would say Jordan Bingham, Ollie Reese, Ben Niesner and the entire offensive line.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

Losing

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

Having heart surgery at 12 years old. I was born with a condition called an anomalous origin of the right coronary artery. I had to have heart surgery to get it fixed. Thinking back I definitely had a ton of courage at such a young age. I just thank God that I recovered, the condition was found and corrected. I’ve never had any issues before or since.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

Valpo is a special place. I love the fact that academics comes first. I love the community and the feel of being on campus. Ringing the victory bell after a win is a priceless feeling. I plan to make sure we ring that bell a lot this upcoming season.

What is your favorite snack food?

Welch’s Fruit Snacks

What is the best part of football?

The team experience. The bonding, fellowship and grind of working with a group for the same goal.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

Any team that gets me will be getting a hardworking, team first and mature voice in the locker room.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

I feel like I can be Marshawn Lynch 2.0.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Barack Obama, Muhammad Ali and Tom Brady.
