NFL Draft Diamonds Free Agent Interview: Jay Kennedy, Defensive Lineman

Jay Kennedy Free Agent Interview
NFL Draft Diamonds writer Justin Berendzen recently sat down with Free Agent Defensive Lineman Jay Kennedy. Check it out!

Hello, I am @jrberendzen on Twitter and this is one of my free agent interviews where I ask very deserving free agents questions about the players themselves and about what a team would get in these players. All of these players should get picked up by NFL, CFL, and XFL teams and get a shot at being a career football player. So I hope you all read his interview and follow his journey on Twitter @jayitaintjay25

If I could hang out with any player it would be Aaron Donald his work ethic and strength is in a different league and I could learn a lot from him.

5.Rank focus, footwork and skill based on what is most important to you as a football player and explain why?

1.Focus-if you are not focused you are not in the game 2.Foot-work can’t trip over yourself 3. Skill is important but if foot work and focus are there can’t be beat.

Favorite workout bench press

The type energy I bring excitement, focus, grit, and willpower.

Biggest challenge in life was putting size on to look like a player.

10.What would a team get in a player like you?

A team gonna get a hard worker, go getter and a leader.

11.What is a moment in your football career that improved you as a football player?

First pro contract gave me will to keep going.

12.What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Knowing I can take care of family and fell in love with the game when I was little I would get the toy helmet and shoulder pads run around the house.
