Texas High School Football star WR Tony Evans Jr. who committed to Wyoming Shot and Killed in Dallas

Wyoming wide receiver recruit Tony Evans Jr. was shot and killed in a Dallas Hotel over the weekend.

Lancaster High School Football lost a star today. Tony Evans Jr. a player that recently committed to play college football at Wyoming has been shot and killed.

Evans Jr. and another person were in a hotel room close to the airport when they were shot. Both victims were rushed to the hospital but Evans Jr. was pronounced dead.

Evans Jr. was a star wide receiver at Lancaster and signed his letter of intent to Wyoming over Northern Colorado.

Police do not have any suspects in custody and the death is being investigated as a homicide.

Evans was a 6’2, 180-pound wide receiver who ran a 4.5 forty. He was a work horse, and we at NFL Draft Diamonds would like to honor him by posting a highlight of him. Please keep the Evans family in your prayers.
