Former New York Giants wide receiver Travis Rudolph was charged with first degree murder.

Former New York Giants wide receiver Travis Rudolph was arrested in Florida today and charged with first degree murder and first degree attempted murder.

Rudolph, 25, was arrested Wednesday morning after Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a double shooting in the 500 block of North Redwood Drive in Lake Park. One male victim was found dead, while another was taken to a hospital.

Rudolph was identified as the suspect and arrested. He was booked into jail at 8:02 this morning, according to jail records. He faces charges of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder, according to the sheriff’s office.

Rudolph signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent in the 2018 season. He also had a short stint with the Miami Dolphins. He played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers as well in the CFL. He was a standout player at Florida State. He had 8 career receptions in his career for 101 yards in the NFL.
