Right now, people are not talking about you the way I feel they should. Do you feel you are an underdog?

  • I feel like I’m perfectly positioned to make an impact at the next level, seemingly out of nowhere. So underdog? No. I just need to show people who to root for.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

  • They’ll be getting a guy who prides himself on putting in the extra work and going the extra mile. Whether it’s on the field, in the locker room or in the community, that’s the standard.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

  • I would donate to organizations who provide clean water in third world countries.

Who was your childhood hero?

  • Easy. My parents. I was at the perfect age while growing up in Kansas to really see the impact they had in our community and have always aspired to do the same.

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

  • Yohance Burnett and Trey Reeves. If you don’t know their names yet, you will.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

  • In 2017, I broke my foot in the second half of the second game after having scored 4 touchdowns and over 150 yards as the number two. Watching from the sidelines the whole season was really tough. It challenged me mentally, spiritually and emotionally. It’s funny how what you saw as a nightmare can become one of your greatest triumphs and life lessons. Because of all I gained through the process of recovery, I gained more than I lost and am grateful for the injury.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

  • My school is located in the same city where I played highschool ball, so I get to see lots of familiar faces on Saturdays. Tulsa is special to me because it’s a school and community that loves you back.

What is your favorite snack food?

  • Tomato basil, wheat thins. I’ve only recently discovered them and wish I would’ve sooner.

The NFL Draft is quickly approaching, If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

  • A small town kid, making big time plays with his size, speed and agility.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

  • Not very much into comparison but I watch a lot of Fred Taylor, Nick Chubb and Alvin Kamara.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

  • Jesus is number one and then both my grandmas Joyce and Rosey. Grandparents should live forever.
