Right now, people are not talking about you the way I feel they should. Do you feel you are an underdog?

Being a long snapper in the draft process, specialists and especially long snappers can get lost in all the top positional hype! It’s normal! Who pays attention to us most are special teams coaches, etc. I try to stay away from any social media/ sports media that discusses any sort of specialist specific material related to the draft! I keep my head down and take care of business back home, and it will work out the way it’s supposed to. 

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

I am a great teammate and will do whatever it takes to be the most responsible player in the building. Whether it’s being on time, or taking responsibility for a mistake, I will do my best to be the best player and teammate I can be. I am always willing to learn and push those around me. There is also no other job I’d rather have in this life than a professional football player. 

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be? 

I would donate to effected by cancer. It’s one of those things that people most of the time can’t control. They shouldn’t financially struggle for something like this. Who was your childhood hero?My dad. I actually wrote a hero speech about my dad back in 6th grade. And he will forever be my hero. I even got a tattoo on my arm that says “Believe” Before every game he would tell me that. And before every drag race or bowling tournament he would do, I would tell him believe. Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school? I would say Ben Mason. Every team should be wanting to draft this guy. Loves football more than anyone I have ever met. He would give his life for the game.

What is your biggest pet peeve? 

People who lack a sense of urgency! If there is something to be done, I always strive to get it done as quickly as I can! I always try to push and lead those around me to finish. 

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

I would say not being able to come back for my fifth year, and still pursuing the NFL draft. I was not given a scholarship at the time the big ten originally canceled the season so I was put in the position to move back to Ohio and start my preparation for the draft. Then they reinstated the season and I had to mentally endure watching all my teammates play while I had to watch from home. It only pushed me to prepare harder for the next level!  

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

Michigan is known for being one of the best academic institutions in the World! This prestigious place allowed me to earn a biology degree and complete my required coursework to attend dental school after I’m done playing football! What is your favorite snack food? Trail Mix! A little bit of everything! 

The NFL Draft is quickly approaching, If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say? 

There isn’t anywhere else I would rather be, and I can promise to whoever wants me to play for them that I will do whatever it takes to be the best teammate, friend, and son I can be in order for us to win Super Bowls. If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be? Morgan Cox, we have a similar frame, and I watched his film all through my college career. Our punt scheme at Michigan was similar to his punt scheme ran at Baltimore. If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why? Mark Wahlberg, my entire football career has been inspired by the movie Invincible. I listen to Let it Ride before every game in college. Mac Miller- one of my favorite artists to listen to. My dad- My best friend, we go to lunch about every day!
