Heavily recruited offensive tackle Herman Taylor died in a car accident in Ohio
Herman Taylor definitely was headed to college to play football. The senior offensive tackle from Euclid, Ohio had several offers already from colleges, and was always working on his craft. Unfortunately, Taylor died in a car accident over the weekend.
The Second Team All-Offensive Player lost his life in a car accident over the weekend. Herman Taylor, a member of the Euclid Panthers football team, was killed in the crash that happened about 4:15 a.m. at Euclid Avenue.
There were reportedly two other football players in the vehicle with Taylor that were injured in the crash. They were taken to local hospitals where their injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
According to the police report, It appears Taylor was driving a Nissan Rogue west on Euclid Avenue when the vehicle went off the side of the road, struck a traffic signal box, flipped over and caught fire.
