Urban Meyer officially hired by Jacksonville Jaguars as Head Coach

Urban Meyer Jacksonville Jaguars head coach
The Jacksonville Jaguars end up turning to one of the best college coaches ever in Urban Meyer. Was it a good move?

Urban Meyer has been officially hired by the Jacksonville Jaguars as their head coach, Meyer has been in the college system for years and years, making his coaching debut as the head coach of Bowling Green in 2001, and stayed there until 2002.

Meyer became the head coach of the University of Utah for two seasons (2003-2004). Meyer made his move to the University of Florida in 2005, and stayed there until 2010. From there, and this is what Meyer is most recently known for, he made the move to Ohio State, where he was the head coach for 9 seasons (2010-2018). In his time,

Meyer has won the National Championship game three times in his career, and has accumulated a record of 187-32, which is very very good all things considered.

The track record of coaches coming from college into the NFL is not good, but maybe Meyer can turn it around with these Jaguars.
