Brad Holmes agrees to terms to become the new Lions GM
By: NFLHeads
Brad Holmes, former Los Angeles Rams director of college scouting, has agreed to terms with the Detroit Lions to replace Bob Quinn as the general manager.
Holmes will hopefully be able to build up some talent for Matt Stafford to utilize, and to build a defense that is going to hopefully no longer be dead last in the NFL.
Holmes started out with the Rams when they were still in St Louis, back in 2003. Holmes made his scouting start in 2004, as a scouting assistant. Holmes worked in various other scouting capacities until 2013 when he was promoted to the director of college scouting.
If I were a Lions fan, I would be cautiously optimistic given how well the draft picks have panned out when he was in charge of scouting.
