Police say the 33-year-old was armed with a realistic-looking BB gun when they found him in-and-out of traffic near 23rd Avenue and Indian School Road, according to ABC 15.

Udofia played at Stanford and was a defensive lineman. He ended up landing on the Cincinnati Bengals and New Orleans Saints.

Udofia had several run-ins with the police and had been arrested on numerous charges. Udofia suffered from mental health issues, and his family and relatives would encourage anyone who knew Udofia to donate to mental health causes.
