Johnny Manziel aka Johnny Football is back playing professional football. The former standout at Texas A&M is signing with the Zappers.

It is official, Johnny Manziel is back and expected to play professional football. According to TMZ Sports, Manziel signed a contract to become the starting quarterback for the Zappers of the Fan Controlled Football League.

Manziel wants to play football, and this cannot be about money.

“Football has always been a huge part of my life, and the opportunity to join the FCF was too good to pass up,” Manziel says.

FCF is doing something new and original in Sports, a league that is truly all about the fans and letting them call all the shots. I can’t wait to get started — this is going to be fun.”

This is very similar to Arena football. It is a 7-on-7 full contact football league where the fans control everything. They control the play calling, what color the jerseys are and even the team logo.

The field is only 50 yards with 10 yard endzones. Every game is played in Atlanta, Georgia, the games will be 60 minutes long and streamed live on Twitch.
