3 Weekly Sleepers

  • T.Y. Hilton/ WR/ Indianapolis Colts: Hilton failed to hit 80 receiving yards or 1 TD through the first 11 weeks of the season but has done both in each of the last 2 games. 12 catches for 191 yards and 2 TDs over that span. Now, he gets to take on the Raiders secondary that barely held on last week against the Jets.
  • Keke Coutee/ WR/ Houston Texans: Keke do you love me? Are you riding? Sorry, I couldn’t help it with the Drake reference. But for real, this week we find out how much Coutee loves fantasy managers and if he’s down to ride all the way to the championship game. He gets a deceptively unbeatable Bears defense. The Bears gave up 100 yards to Calvin Ridley in Week 3, 93 to DJ Moore and 77 to Robby Anderson in Week 6, 101 to AJ Brown in Week 9, 135 to Justin Jefferson in Week 10 and last week coughed up 116 and 1 TD to Marvin Jones, 63 and 1 TD to Quintez Cephus and allowed another 62 yards to Danny Amendola. So, I said all that to say I’m not afraid to play Keke Coutee this week.
  • Ty Johnson/ RB/ NY Jets: Anytime a RB gets the backfield to himself you pay attention even if it’s the Jets. He gets a Seattle defense that has given up a fair amount of plays and points to the RB position making him an intriguing play; especially if Frank Gore remains sidelined with a concussion. Wayne Gallman ran for 135 yards last week against this Seattle defense and Alfred Morris, yes that Alfred Morris, scored twice. It’s 2020 so why not roll the dice on Ty Johnson?

3 Weekly Fades

  • David Johnson/ RB/ Houston Texans: This is a tough matchup with the Bears run defense and this week is best suited for the Texans passing attack. However, David Johnson seems to have lost a good chunk of the pass game responsibilities to Duke Johnson. So with the lack of touches in a tough spot he’s too TD needy/dependent for me.
  • Zack Moss/ RB/ Buffalo Bills: You hate to see it when a rookie RB fumbles in their own territory creating an easy score for the opponent. After the fumble, we see little from the rookie RB for the rest of the game. Well, that was Zack Moss and his Week 13. Next up, Pittsburgh so for me, that means he’s a no-go.
  • Christian Kirk/ WR/ Arizona Cardinals: I like Christian Kirk. I really do. He’s a tremendous athlete and is a TD waiting to happen when he gets his hands on the ball. However, I just don’t like his situation currently. Kyler Murray is hurt and can’t deliver the ball as we saw earlier in the season. That leaves DeAndre Hopkins as the only trustworthy pass-catching option on the offense for now.
