Saints QB Drew Brees is expected to play, but what can we expect?

Could Drew Brees play this week for the Saints? He will test his arm out today
Drew Brees is expected to play this week against he Kansas City Chiefs but what can we expect? I would fire him up this week against the Chiefs.

Drew Brees is going to make a return to the football field this week against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Saints could use a boost from him, but they still did not do bad with Taysom Hill in charge.

The Saints are 10-3 and are expected to play the 12-1 Chiefs, but can they honestly give them a problem? We are about to find out this week because Brees has said he is good enough to play.

This could be the biggest game of the season because the Saints are competing for home-field advantage and so are the Chiefs. I am not sure if Drew Brees is going to be healthy enough to play though. He suffered a very significant injury.

Brees, 41, returned to practice this week after missing four games because of 11 broken ribs and a punctured lung. That is not a minor injury for a forty-one year old. I am not saying he is old, but that would crush a young kid too.

Saints coach Sean Payton insisted that Brees would not be rushed back into the lineup, but rumors have it Brees is expected to suit up.

Brees is not playing a bum defense, he will be facing Chris Jones and the Chiefs. I think Brees can have a field day with the secondary, if the line can give him time. I think this is going to be a shoot-out and Brees is going to look great.
