2021 NFL Draft Prospect: Rondale Moore, WR, Purdue University
Last week, Rondale Moore made his season debut and boy did I miss watching him play. Moore missed the first three weeks of the season this year, but the projected first round pick started where he left off.
Moore hauled in 15 receptions against the Minnesota Golden Gophers and went for 116 yards.
Purdue lost on a fluke play, but Rondale Moore is BACK, and should be on your Mock Draft’s as a first round pick.
Moore had 114 receptions for 1,258 yards and 12 touchdowns as a freshman in 2018. Moore was the Kentucky Player of the year in high school and has been one of the most explosive draft prospects in the country. He should declare and I expect him to do so.
Last season, Moore finished with 29 receptions for 387 yards and 2 touchdowns. Moore is also coming off of a leg injury that took him out of the last eight games of the 2019 season. So remember to keep an eye on him moving forward.
NFL Draft Diamonds Scouting Notes
Rondale Moore is a swiss army knife, I know you hate that analogy but it is true. He is a playmaker that cranks out YAC, and will do that in the NFL as well. His best fit is going to be in the slot, he is not an outside guy in my opinion, because of his size. The 5’9 burner at 180 pounds is very similar to Tavon Austin in his prime. I think Moore can dominate and will hear his name called early in the NFL Draft. – Damond Talbot, Owner, NFL Draft Diamonds
