Buffalo Bills need to get on the phone and call CB Deandre Baker
Today, former New York Giants first round pick found out that all criminal charges against him in a reported home invasion in Miramar, Florida have been dropped.
The 22 year old cornerback has started in 15 games in his young career and has 8 passes defended. He has also recorded 61 total tackles. The 5’11 cornerback is a solid prospect but was released by the New York Giants after the news came out that he was arrested in South Beach.
Right now the Buffalo Bills are super banged up at the cornerback position. Dane Jackson stepped up after being added from the practice squad this week, but ended up injured, suffering a concussion.
The Bills also have Josh Norman who is still banged up on the COVID-19 list, and Levi Wallace also had to join him. The Bills signed Daryl Worley who struggled a bit.
This is a flier right here though. It costs you nothing to sign a player like Baker. Baker is a former first round cornerback who was a beast in college for Georgia. At this point, what do you have to lose? Bills need to swing for the fences. Add him you lose nothing by doing so.
