Breaking: Former Hurricanes LB Michael Pinckney signed to Patriots Practice Squad
Today the New England Patriots signed former Miami Hurricane linebacker Michael Pinckney to their practice squad.
Pinckney was a four-year starter at the University of Miami.
He served as a weak side linebacker in the Hurricanes’ 4-3 scheme and appeared in 49 games over the course of his career.
He posted some solid numbers, registering 267 tackles (42.0 for loss) as well as 14.5 sacks and three interceptions.
Patriots have a spot open on their active roster right now but this is for their practice squad. A player on their practice squad could be getting called up this week.
