Breaking: Vikings are expected to workout former CFL standout Marcus Sayles this week
Former CFL standout Marcus Sayles is headed to Minnesota. We are learning the former CFL cornerback from West Georgia has a workout scheduled with the Minnesota Vikings.
He previously played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at the University of West Georgia.
Sayles was a standout cornerback for West Georgia who signed with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent. He had an amazing season last year in the CFL for Winnipeg.
Sayles is one of the best special teams players I have ever watched. In college, he had 10 plus blocked field goals or punts. That is a special talent. He was released by the Vikings earlier this year.
